Kenneth Bi was kind enough to take time from his busy schedule to talk to us days before leaving Hong Kong to present The Drummer at The Miami Film Festival.

Not only did we discuss the cast of The Drummer (Jaycee Chan, Tony Leung Ka-fai and the U-Theatre drummers) but he also gave us some wonderful anecdotes about the cast members of Rice Rhapsody and Small Miracle. The interview gives great insights into his thoughts on writing screenplays, directing, and making films in Hong Kong.
