Fatal Contact arrives on UK DVD
Action fans on the lookout for the next great martial arts hero need look no further than FATAL CONTACT, director Dennis Law’s thrilling underground street-fighting movie which brilliantly showcases the remarkable talents of rapidly rising martial arts star Jacky Wu Jing. A national wushu champion and former member of the world renowned Beijing Wushu Team (whose other alumni include Jet Li and Donnie Yen), Wu Jing achieved international success playing a vicious assassin in the international hit, S.P.L. (aka Kill Zone). Now, with FATAL CONTACT, he has found the role that justifies why many martial arts fans and Hollywood insiders are touting him as the new Jet Li.
When penniless Kung Fu Olympian, Kong Ko (Wu Jing), is lured into the shadowy world of underground boxing, he thinks winning a few fights is all it will take to make some easy money and secure his future.
But as he rips through some of the best fighters on the circuit and the stakes become higher, he is transformed into a merciless, lethal fighting machine built to destroy everything in his path. Only when Kong is told to throw a fight or risk his girlfriend being killed is he forced to make the ultimate choice – whether to stand up and fight or face the ultimate humiliation?
Packed with amazing mixed martial arts combat, blood soaked brawls and amazing feats of physical agility, FATAL CONTACT is an all-action thriller that further confirms Jacky Wu Jing’s growing reputation as one of the brightest new action stars in Asian cinema.
FATAL CONTACT (cert. 15) will be released on DVD (£16.99) by Cine Asia on 21st July 2008. Special Features include:
* Blood And Bruises The Making Of Fatal Contant
* Fatal Flaws
* Outtakes

Excellent news! Been meaning to buy the Hong Kong version for ages but this new UK version seems as good with the extras. Wu Jing is definitely the future of Hong Kong action cinema.
