Oh we just love Asian cinema with added blood and guts! And, we are really excited to hear that Warner Brothers in Japan are releasing the new Korean/Japanese co-produced Higanjima on January 9th 2010. Hopefully there will be plenty of western DVD releases soon enough.

The story tells of a teenager, Akira and his friends, who travel to the errie island of Higanjima to find Akira’s missing older brother. But what these poor kids don’t realise is that the island is inhabited by evil bloodthirsty vampires…
