Chan isn't japanese (i think virtually the whole world knows this) & i've never seen him perform karate on screen before. if they were calling it Karate Kid again, then why not get a real Japanese sensei to portray the master - no offence to Jackie, love his movies. ever since i heard the news of the remake with Chan as the mentor i had a problem with the Karate Kid title.
