Jackie Chan’s 100th Movie: Chinese Zodiac
Jackie Chan has his 100th film project. The Hong Kong-based action hero will star in and co-direct “Chinese Zodiac,” an action caper with a budget set at 250 million yuan ($37 million), Chan told The Hollywood Reporter this week.
Produced by Emperor Motion Pictures subsidiary Emperor Dragon Movies, “Zodiac” will see Chan on a series of treasure hunts across the globe that are intricately linked with one of the major events in Chinese history.
“The theme of the film revolves around a subject close to the hearts of Chinese people around the world,” Chan said, without revealing more of the plot.
