Jackie Chan’s The Myth TV Series Begins

the-myth-tv-series.jpgThe television adaption of Jackie Chan’s hit 2005 fantasy-actioner The Myth has just began airing China Central Television’s Channel 8. The series comprises of 50-episodes and stars Hu Ge and Bai Bing with Jackie Chan serving as the chief supervisor and direct Stanley Tong acting as the artistic director.

No I didn’t get The Myth either, Chan’s better keeping to action and not fantasy

It’s OK in some parts, the modern day parts. But then again, I guess it was made just for his Asian audience…

In order to understand The Myth, you have to do some research in Internet. Some characters in the series are real. General Meng Ti, Meng Yi, eunuch Zao Gao, Qin Emperor and many others..their names are actually listed in history.
