Kane Kosugi Talks Coweb

CowebCOWEB stars Jiang Lu-xia, a female martial artist who rose to fame in China by displaying her martial arts skills in a series of short films on the internet before becoming a finalist in Jackie Chan’s mainland reality TV series THE DISCIPLE.

Battling alongside Jiang is kicker and flipper Kane Kosugi (son of 80s America Ninja film star, Sho). We take a look at this new high-octane actioner in the next issue of Jade Screen as well as sit down with Kane for an exclusive interview about working on the project.

COWEB stars Jiang Lu Xia, Sam Lee, Cheung Siu-fai and German Martial Arts Stuntman Mike Moller. The film is helmed by Xiong Xin-xin, (once Wushu champion, turned actor and now director). Joe Ma, Chan Shu-chi are producing the film which is written by Chan Wing-sun.

COWEB is released across Asia later in the year. Check out the trailer below and see what you think.

Kane is great just like his Father. So much talent. I hope younger Brother, Shane, will follow suit and get into the film business. Looking forward to the interview in the next magazine.

I am looking for a release date for this movie. The trailer looks great, Jiang Lu-xia looks a lot like Yukari Oshima from back in the late 80s and early 90s… So cool!
