MW Trailer Now Available


MWFinally a full trailer for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Osamu Tezuka’s suspenseful manga, MW is now online. Hooray! The movie is directed by Hitoshi Iwamoto (There’s Always Tomorrow) and features a script by a certain Tetsuya Oishi and Haruo Kimura (live-action Death Note films).

 

Synopsis:

The story centres around Michio Yuki (Hiroshi Tamaki) who survived a deadly nerve gas tragedy as a child, but this “MW” incident left his damaged brain without a conscience. Yuki grows up to become a bank executive by day and a mass murderer by night. On top of that, Yuki aims to acquire the MW nerve gas, which leaves his longtime partner and confidante, a priest named Garai (Takayuki Yamada), struggling with difficult choices.

 

The film opens across Japan on the 4th July 2009.
