Old Skool Kung Fu is Back
Champions, the forthcoming actioner directed by Tsui Siu-ming and starring Dicky Cheung, Wong Tsui Yu, Debbie Goh and Yu Rong-guang is released later next month.
The movie centres around an underdog wushu athlete (played by Dicky Cheung) who takes part in a martial arts tournament in order represent his homeland in a kung-fu performance so as to win the heart of a national sprinter.
Champions showcases various schools of martial arts ranging from Praying Mantis Boxing through Eagle Claw to Tai Chi Chuan.

Good news to see Tsui Siu-ming back in action - the last I heard about him was back in the early 90s when he was going to direct Jackie Chan in Fireman Story. But, unfortunately, that movie never came about…
