The first trailer for Gordon Chan’s upcoming epic ‘Painted Skin’ has now emerged on the web. The big budget production (estimated at $10 million US) is a re-telling of the classic tale of a demon who constantly needs the heart and skin of a man to maintain her beauty.

Released in September 2008 , the film has a mega cast which includes the likes of mainland China’s Zhou Xun, Vicki Zhao Wei, Donnie Yen and Chen Kun.
