Sammo Hung And The War Monkeys

Sammo Hung

Sammo Hung is reportedly in negotiations to star in the upcoming Hollywood horror comedy, ‘War Monkeys’. The film is being produced by Dark Horse Indie, which is unsurprisingly the independent half of Dark Horse Films, and director Kevin Munroe (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) is now in talks to helm.

Based on a story by producer Chris Patton and scripted by Clive Nettles, the film follows the tale of two janitors who, during a Christmas holiday, get trapped in an underground research facility after accidentally unleashing military-trained Rhesus monkeys.

‘War Monkeys’ is aiming to start shooting in early 2009, and will use a combination of real monkeys, animatronic puppets, and CGI.
