Shinjuku Incident Poster Art

Shinjuku Incident

While we wait patiently for the eventual release of Shinjuku Incident perhaps we can quench our appetite a little with these three Hong Kong poster arts from the upcoming movie featuring Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu and Fan Bing Bing, then again - perhaps not… sigh!

Thank you! Your website rocks, it’s also pretty much the only site putting up unbiased materials. Looking forward to Shinjuku a lot.

What kind of name is Steelhead for Jackie in this movie? The mind boggles… Surely Jackie and the movie company want the film to be taken seriously by Western audiences as well???

there’s nothing wrong with the name, it is just a direct translation from chinese. It sounds odd, but if you think about it there are a lot of strange name in hollywood too (eg John Carpenter, Clint Eastwood, Dennis Hopper)

Anyway it doesn’t sound odd in chinese (if you watch HK films they sometimes use outrageous names when it’s translated literally to English

The film itself is great, but don’t go in with a mindset that this is a Jackie Chan movie. It’s a HK production that happened to have JC as the main character (he’s great in it)
