Scott Adkins Weekend (August 2005)
Our latest event took place in Birmingham and as well as having footage, merchandise, a Gala Chinese dinner, a Dim-Sum lunch and lots of fun we also had a very special guest too - Scott Adkins from The Medallion, Unleashed, Black Mask 2 and The Accidental Spy.
Here’s what some of the attendees thought of the weekend when they got back home:
“What a great weekend we all had in Birmingham and what a delight to meet Scott Adkins. He was a real down to earth guy, and only too willing to give us an insight into his career, and obliged us with a question/answer session… It was also so nice to meet up with old pals and make new ones.” - Heyes Eaton, Coventry - UK
“Once again, a great weekend. Saw a brilliant film “Unleashed” - excellent! Go and see it if you get the opportunity. Also met Scott Adkins - what a ‘nice guy’, very interesting to talk to” - Gail Frith, Leicester - UK
“I really enjoyed the Screen Power weekender (27-28 August). I was more relaxed & much less apprehensive this time around too! I thought Scott Adkins was fabulous. I was a bit “starstruck”, but he was a very cool guy. I’ll be watching his career with interest - even if he does have to wear unusually round goggles again like in Tsui Hark’s “Black Mask 2″. Jet Li’s “Unleashed” was great, too - I loved the fight scenes. I’ll probably see it again in a couple of weeks. Brilliant!! - Karla West, London - UK
