Hong Kong Films On The Up!
This summer saw four local Hong Kong films hit the top 10: Turning Point from Shaw Brothers (HK$15.7 million box-office), Overheard (HK15.5 million), Murderer (HK$11.7 million) and finally the period comedy On His Majesty’s Secret Service (HK8.8 million).
Looking back at last summer, only two Hong Kong films made the cut. So maybe Hong Kong films are back on the up after all…
