On The Edge (2006)

Herman Yau has a point to make in On The Edge, an interesting look into the life of the undercover cop. Extending the topic where other movies may have scratched the surface, viewers follow young officer Harry Sin (Nick Cheung) as he returns to regular policing after a four-year stint as an undercover agent. Sin had been sent to infiltrate a gang led by don Dark (Francis Ng) and, once his target is finally nabbed, he’s handed a bravery certificate, given a paltry $5,000 bonus, re-housed and put straight onto the beat.
