Chiu Man Cheuk Makes Comeback As ‘Beggar Su’
After being discovered by Tsui Hark in 1992, Chiu Man Cheuk was being touted as the next Jet Li. He shared the same innocent charm, fabulous Wu Shu skills, was brought up in Beijing and even trained at the same martial arts school as Jet - but unless things change in the current Hong Kong film industry, it’s unlikely that he will ever achieve Jet’s wordqide success but it looks like he may finally be back with a bang thanks to the legend that is Yuen Woo-ping. Cheuk will be starring in Yuen’s new movie, ‘Beggar Su’ which is a reworking of the classic kung fu film ‘Hero Among Heroes’. Continue…
