I’m sure there is a good reason why the uk is getting such a late showing compared to europe.Maybe these are just the previews? But it does make it look unfortunately like the uk fans don’t matter.I know thats not true but it does give a nagative message out doesn’t it.! will Some-one please explain the reason to us.I hope it’s a good one ! .I’ll go NUTS waiting till july .
bensun
that is absolute bull why july what makes america and china the more superior country ? discrimination against the uk plus the film industry are stupid because most of the world will have seen it including the uk before july as somebody will put a quality copy on the internet making it available for uk viewers to access before the date its released who would go to the cinema when you can get a copy months earlier ?
stupid idiots
j
rubbish!!!! why so late in the UK?
it’s already showing back home in manila (philippines)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the uk office of lionsgate should be sacked!
Alan
I hope all of Europe downloads it for free and watches it before July, and that the cinmas are empty.
We should do that with all films until hollywood gets the idea.
[…] The Forbidden Kingdom Gets a Later Release in the U.K. I’ve been looking forward to this film ever since it was announced. Another 2 months to wait.

What on earth is happening..a film I want to see and actually know about it, but we have to wait soooooo long! Come on Lionsagate!
Thunda Palm!
Why the delay?
What’s this all about??
Is it really necessary???
I know the UK market is very small within this territory and is not as big as the others, but come on guys, get your act together! Is it down to a total lack of respect of the UK market?
I do not agree with piracy, but it’s inevitable, especially when you keep people waiting so long. The UK box offices will suffer once the bootleggers get a hold of this movie…
…in fact, I just made a quick call and have been told that it is out already on bootleg! Who suffers here? Certainly not the ‘fat cats’.
Can someone kindly explain the delayed release date please? Thank you!

I seen the film in manila and it rocked. I can’t see any reason for the delay. That being said it worth the wait so hang on everyone.
Big Daddy
At least it gives us something to look forward to, i cant wait.
They save the best till last lol

Im from the UK, and i saw it last night, EXCELLENT DVD QUALITY.
watched it online on my HD computer monitor, i got the pop corn out and a drink.. was gd gd gd!
basically, what happens is that there is a boy who goes to a pawn shop and some guys follow him in to mug the old man whoowns it, then shoots the old man, the boy runs away they chase him, he grabs a stick on a shelf and magically goes to the forbidden kingdom, where he has a quest to deliver the stick to the monkey king who was imprisoned in stone by the jade warrior
a really good film
